| "What's It Going To Be?" |
(c) Nicki Black
Today we took our daughter to the natural history museum. We happened upon a young lady, perched somewhat off-balance on a step stool with a long set of tweezers, feeding several aquarium-bound frogs. As she clutched the lone cricket in the tweezers upside-down, an impression struck me hard and fast. By the time a man is left his wiles, un-righted and seeing hell licking at his face, it will be too late.
God gives us, I think, an inordinate number of chances. And with those inordinate number of chances comes an inordinate number of times He will forgive us and wipe away our sins with the asking.
We have the freedom of choice. Heaven or hell. Life or death. Once the day arrives, the judgement will have already been given. What's it going to be? |
